Kaudulla National Park is located on the road of Trincomalee, and 30kilometers away from Habarana town. Kaudulla is also famous for Elephant gatherings in large numbers, such as 250-300 elephant in the catchment of the reservoir. When the water level goes up in Minneriya reservoir elephant migrate to this park.
