- After Breakfast visit the Rock Cave Temples of Dambulla
- Dambulla Rock cave Temple is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE in Sri Lanka. The history of the temple dates back to 3rd Century BC. In the 1st century BC major five caves had been converted to beautiful interior carved temple. The caves consist of Buddha statues, statues of gods, statues of kings and as well as Bodhisattva. And the temple features 20000 of square feet of ceiling paintings which is the largest south Asia
- Proceed to campsite at Knuckles Mountain Range
- Take 03-04 hour trek through the villages which surrounded Sphinx Eyrir. This trek through forest paths and village tracks is through the rich foliage of the knuckles range with a breath taking vies of the valley as the backdrop
Overnight at Cobert’s Rest, Knuckles
(To ensure very low impact in this pristine region we do not operate a permanent campsite and the facilities provided are very basic, two person insect and waterproof tents and simple. But wholesome hot meals (Lunch, Dinner and breakfast) are provided by the camp crew)
- The day trek will take you to a small village which was only accessible by foot until very recently. A trek of approximately 4-5 hrs through Scrub jungle and forests will bring you to the little farming village at Meemure, deep in the knuckles valley. The trek is on rough trails and a few streams need to be forded en route
- Break at the village shop for a cup of hot tea, sweetened with “jiggery” made of coconut sap.
- After short break explore the village – see and appreciate the simplicity of life enjoyed by its people, swim in the cool mountain water of a stream which rushes by the village
- Continue the trek king climb out of the valley from Meemure village back to our campsite.
Overnight at Cobert’s Rest, Knuckles
- Visit to Horton plains National park 29km 1.10hrs
- Sri Lanka’s highest plateau 7200ft above from the sea level in the central mountain country. This plain consists of mountain to grasslands, from marshes to trout streams. Sri Lanka’s best flavored high grown in the surrounding areas. Spectacular view from the “world end” where the plateau plunges a thousand feet in a straight sheer drop. Cool and bracing climate and very good hiking country. Total Trekking might Take upto 3hrs
- Then Proceed to Ella from Horton Plains 50km 2hrs

- Transfer to Udawalawe 176km 3.45hrs
- En route Elephant transit home
Is a place of rehabilitate of wild Asian baby elephants, they come to feed the milk every 3 hrs. Once they reached maturity they sent back to the jungle.

- Visit to Udawalawe National park by jeeps.
- Udawalawe National park is located in Udawalawe town which is border of the wet zone and the dry zone. It was declared as a National Park in 1972. The park is surrounded by Mountain ranges, and the park area is consist of mixture of grasslands, Teak plantations, water holes and etc. the average annual rainfall is 1520mm. and Udawalawe reservoir is located inside the park are which was built in 1960s. the park itself famous for large herd of elephants and bird watching. There are other several species of Deer, Wild boar, Peacocks, Mongooses, crocodiles, Water monitors, land monitors, Samba Deer’s, Bandicoots, foxes, torque macaques, Gray languor, fishing cats, jungle cats, wild buffalos, various bird and many more. So keep your cameras and binocular ready!!!
- Then proceed to Colombo 172km 4.15hrs

- After checkout Proceed to Bandaranaike international airport.30 km 0.30hrs
