Wilpattu National park is the largest national park in Srilanka. The extent is 1317 square kilometers, located 35 kilometers from Anuradhapura town. The name Wilpattu derived from “willu-pattu” which means land of the lakes. The park consists of natural lakes.
The four Bigs of Srilanka wild life leopard, Elephant, Sloth bear, Deer, also endemic birds can be sighted in the jeep Safaris.
