  • Hiriwadunna village Trek
    • To get the experience of real traditional Srilankan rural village life style, where you will travel in a bullock cart to a rural village through lush green paddy fields and canoe ride in a lake in habarana. Then you will be served tea and “juggery” along with lunch made authentic typical countryside Srilankan style. Traditional cooking methods, and visit to paddy field to see how local farmers protect their crops from the wild animals including elephants. They demonstrate traditional methods of processing the rice in their homes

  • Visit Dambulla Rock cave Temple
    • Dambulla Rock cave Temple is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE in Srilanka. The history of the temple dates back to 3rd Century BC. In the 1st century BC major five caves had been converted to beautiful interior carved temple. The caves consist of Buddha statues, statues of gods, statues of kings and as well as Bodhisattva. And the temple features 20000 of square feet of ceiling paintings which is the largest south Asia.

Tour Day 11

  • After breakfast leave to Adams peak 95km 3.35hrs
    • Peak wilderness including Adams Peak wilderness including Adams Peak is a Tropical Rain forest. Huge forest area has been cutoff during the British period to plant tea. It radiates River Kalu, River Kelani and many waterfalls.
    • The Adams Peak 2243meter height. According to the chronicle Mahawamsa the Buddha has visited Sree pada after visiting Kelaniya. The foot print is 1.8 meter long. And the pilgrimage season starts in December to May. Generally People start to climb around 1 am in the darkness, so can be sighted the sunrise from the summit.
    • During the off season it’s very hard to climb due to heavy rain, thick mist & strong wind. And the area is surrounded by gem bearings.

  • Midnight start the climbing to reach the summit, so can have chance to witness the marvelous beauty of the Sunrise from the summit

    • Nuwara Eliya is a famous city located in Central Highlands with elevation of 1900 Meters from the Sea level. The marvelous atmosphere, surrounded by tea plantations, waterfalls and breath taking views from the high elevation attracts local tourists and as well as tourists around the globe. Due to its high elevation Nuwara Eliya has subtropical highland climate, with a mean annual temperature of 16C. The recorded low temperature is -2.6 in January and December.
  • During the British colonial period, this is where the colonial officers spend their time for recreational works.  If one’s visit Nuwara Eliya he can be observed British style Buildings.

  • Early morning Visit to Horton plains National park 29km 1.10hrs
    • Srilanka highest plateau 7200ft above from the sea level in the central mountain country. These plains consist of mountain to grasslands, from marshes to trout streams. Srilanka’s best flavored high grown in the surrounding areas. Spectacular view forms the “world end” where the plateau plunges a thousand feet in a straight sheer drop.   • Breakfast and Proceed to Nanu Oya Railway station.

    • Is a place of rehabilitate of wild Asian baby elephants, they come to feed the milk every 3 hrs. Once they reached maturity they sent back to the jungle.

Tour Day 17

  • Visit to Udawalawe National park by jeeps.
    • Udawalawe National park is located in Udawalawe town which is border of the wet zone and the dry zone. It was declared as a National Park in 1972. The park is surrounded by Mountain ranges, and the park area is consist of mixture of grasslands, Teak plantations, water holes and etc. the average annual rainfall is 1520mm. and Udawalawe reservoir is located inside the park are which was built in 1960s. the park itself famous for large herd of elephants and bird watching. There are other several species of Deer, Wild boar, Peacocks, Mongooses, crocodiles, Water monitors, land monitors, Samba Deer’s,  Bandicoots, foxes, torque macaques, Gray languor, fishing cats, jungle cats, wild buffalos, various bird and many more. So keep your cameras and binocular ready!!!

    • Galle Dutch Fort The Dutch captured the Galle in 1640 after a furious battle against the Portuguese. They fortified and enlarged seeking protection from the landside and as well as seaside. Galle port as fully fledged administration and trade centre and made it the main city in Galle Disawe. It is said Galle port was only second to Batavia in Indonesia, which was the centre of Dutch Administration in the east. In 1796 Galle fort handed over to the British. British called in point de Galle. It remained as the centre of international trade until Colombo harbor was developed during the late 19th century.
